My country is Azerbaijan

This is famous country, there are many beautiful characteristic, nature and city. One of the most charactericsitc There are several languages native in the our country. Although there are several languages native to the territory, Azerbaijani is the official language and the medium of communication of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

One of the expressive features our country is that there are many nationalities can living peacefully here, apart from neighboring countries, they are free to speak their native language. For example lezgian, talysh, avar, georgian, budukh, rutul, tabasaran, tat, udin, russian, Iranian-farsi and etc. All these with the exception of Armenian, Lezgian, Talysh, Avar, and Georgian, which have much larger number of speakers outside Azerbaijan, but nevertheless are steadily declining within Azerbaijan. Before neighboring Armenia occupied 20 percent of our land under the Soviet Union throughout the whole of Azerbaijan, the armenian people also lived peacefully in our country. Generally in Soviet Union seventy one diferrent nationality peacefully lived in all Azerbaijan.

Most people of other nationality in Azerbaijan don’t speak azeri very well, even after living there for 20 years.

At the moment in our country in addition to the native azeri language, there is a propensity to learn russian and english. Today, english language is found in countries all over the world, and everywhere we can see how language changing as people use to talk about their location situation.

Through communication with other nations, we can learn more interesting about their culture, customs, food and etc. Language enables us to say who we are and how we live.

In conclusion, I wanted to say that each language is a door to another world. Knowledge of the language opens many doors and many acquaintances. The more we know languages, the richer we are.
